World War is defined as --  A war in which the major nations of the world are involved

The World War of the Biblical Tribulation period will actually be WWIV(4) or the climax of WWIII with a short peace near the end.  Nearly all Biblical scholars recognize an Israeli peace treaty near or during the 7 year tribulation. 

World War I was fought between several Nation States and the main issue had to do with the freedom of neighboring countries to live in peace without another country forcing their will on them.  The war was fought up close with the most destructive weapon being various forms of gas.  The advent of the airplane had a major effect on ending the war. Length of the war was about 4-6 years, depending on who you read. Every major country in the world was fully engaged in the war effort. 

World War II was fought between several Nation States and the main issue had to do with the freedom of neighboring countries to live in peace without another country forcing their will on them.  The war was fought up close and at some distance with the most destructive weapon being air dropped bombs.  The advent of the atomic bomb had a major effect on ending the war.  Length of the war was about 5 years. Every major country in the world was fully engaged in the war effort. 

How much different will be WWIII?

World War III is being fought between several Nation States and Organized Terrorist Militias funded by Nation States and the main issue has to do with the freedom of neighboring countries to live in peace without another country forcing their will on them.  The war is fought up close and at some distance with the most destructive weapon being bombs carried on persons and vehicles.  Length of the war has already gone on around 25 years.  It has gone on for sooo long because NO country is fully engaged in the war effort.

Why is the perpetual war of the middle east taking in the whole world?

Of course everyone knows this fight goes back to Abraham's family feud but lets just look at what got us here.

After WWII Europe was at a loss what to do with all the displaced Jews from Germany. With the backing of the United States and NATO, a decision was made to place these Jews, and all Jews who wanted back, in their original country of Israel, which at this time was in the hands of the Palestinians. It is also note worthy to say the national borders of almost all countries in the middle east were redrawn.  Since Palestinians were not organized as a Nation State and never claimed a bordered country (they were a free range nomad people), they weren't given one.  I am sure they would have turned down any bordered country that did not include all of Israel.  From the destruction of Israel by Rome around 70AD until 1948 Jews had not been able to get back their land.  The Palestinian nomads believe that roaming the land for 1878 years makes it theirs. This is why they fight today, and all the countries of NATO started the war which has been escalating since 1948. More recently hatred of anyone supporting Israel has generated "Political"/Terrorist movements to engage the whole world.  

I am not in support of giving Israel to the Palestinians.  Palestinians always were and still are a nomad people, claiming any land they are in at the time as theirs.  They will never organize into a Nation State respecting the existence of other Nation States even if it was given to them.

Is it so hard to decide who is right?

If you take the weapons away from Israel you get a holocaust.

If you take the weapons away from the Palestinians you get peace.
