This is a very lovely poem to which a number of people are claiming the copyrights. It was removed to avoid legal issues. I highly recommend a web search to 'Tiny Rosebud', well worth the read. It is terrible to see Satan and Greed ruin this poem. Wendy Foster [wen_lynn@hotmail.com] claims copyright for the poem of Tiny Rosebud author as both Vernie White and Vernie McMqueen on different sources another
person says "HI, MY NAME IS DARRYL L. BROWN. I AM NOW A PASTOR. I WANTED TO GET THIS POEM OUT MANY YEARS AGO BUT I HAD NO IDEA IT WOULD GET OUT LIKE THIS. GOD GAVE ME THIS POEM IN 1974. Ms. Plyler has entered her rant on many blogs
http://jeanneillenye.blogspot.com/ wrote this -- Selma Swanson (Previously thought to be an anonymous author, I was recently advised by Ashley Zauderer, the author's great granddaughter, that this exquisite poem was first published in the magazine "Modern Maturity" in the 1950's. Now I have recently been advised by Angelene Phyler that her mother, Vernie White wrote the poem. I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due, but I'm sure that whoever the author is, she would be delighted that so many adore her heartfelt sentiment.)
http://kindredgrace.com/just-as-he-unfolds-the-rose/ bloged this Oh, I’m so happy to see this poem. Where did you find it? MY grandmother actually wrote it before I was born. She wrote it back in the 1950′s. Her daughter, which is my mother, is till living at 91 and can verify this. So now this poem is NOT Anonymous. Author: Selma Swanson And actually the EXACT title of the poem is The Rose
