Titles
we are told not to give to leaders
Matt 23:8 But
be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and
all ye are brethren. 9 And call no
man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father,
which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye
called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall
be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Solemn
warning here to anyone that exalts himself to one of these titles, you shall be
brought low (abased).
- We are not to go to a man titled
Rabbi, Father, or Master to
seek forgiveness or any other thing. Jesus has identified these men as
imposters. Don't be mad at me, read the verses again, JESUS said it.
- The curtain to the Holy of Holies was
torn during the Sacrifice of Jesus and there is now open access for
everyone to the Holiness of the one true Father which is in Heaven,
through the mediation of our Savior Christ Jesus.
JESUS is the ONLY intercessor
